Today’s Weather – Mauritius and Surrounding Islands (Nov 10)

Mauritius welcomes a calm and pleasant Monday morning. The sky is mostly clear across the island, with a few thin, high-altitude clouds passing overhead that will not bring rain. The breeze is very light, blowing from the northeast at just 3 km/h, and around Le Morne, surface winds drop to nearly 2 km/h.

Throughout the day, the atmosphere will remain warm, humid, and unstable. Around midday, local cloud formations are expected to develop due to weak, variable winds shifting between the north, east, and south. These clouds could bring heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms over Quartier Militaire, later drifting toward St Julien and Lallmatie.

Elsewhere, conditions stay fair, with sunny periods across the island.
The sea remains calm today, with wave heights of 0.8 meters in the west and north, 1 meter along the east, and up to 1.3 meters in the south.

High tide: 3:27 AM and 3:02 PM
Low tide: 8:52 AM and 10:10 PM
Sunrise: 5:24 AM
Sunset: 6:24 PM
