Corrections Policy
Principle
Trust depends on fixing mistakes quickly, visibly, and completely.
What we classify
- Correction: fixes a factual error (names, figures, dates, attributions).
- Update/clarification: adds context or new information without negating prior facts.
- Retraction (rare): removes content that is materially false or unethical (we explain why).
How we correct
- We add a clearly labeled note at the top of the article (“Correction:” or “Update:”), with a short explanation and the timestamp.
- We update the visible “Updated” line and the structured data.
- For significant errors already shared on social channels, we update those posts or add a corrective comment/thread.
How to request a correction
Email corrections@wowmauritius.com with the article URL, the disputed passage, and the proposed fix. We review promptly and respond with our decision.
