The weather in Mauritius remains humid and unstable, bringing a mix of sunshine and showers over the next 24 hours. This tropical pattern will continue through the day with brief but sometimes intense rain across certain regions.
In the morning, expect cloudy skies in the north, east, and central plateau, with passing showers in some areas. Elsewhere, skies will be partly cloudy. The northeast breeze will blow at around 14 km/h, decreasing to about 8 km/h during the afternoon.
In the afternoon, cloud cover will develop again over the western, southern, and central regions, bringing scattered showers—some of moderate intensity. Fog patches may form in elevated areas, briefly reducing visibility.
Maximum temperatures will reach 25–28°C on the highlands and 30–33°C along the coasts. The sea remains calm, with 0.8-meter waves on the west and north coasts and 1.2 meters in the east and south.
High tide: 5:30 and 16:53
Low tide: 11:05 and 23:57
Looking ahead, humidity levels will stay high, and occasional showers will persist. By the weekend, the sea is expected to turn rough, especially along the southern coast with waves up to 2.5 meters.
