This morning, Mauritius wakes to mostly pleasant skies, with a few clouds drifting by from time to time. A light north-easterly breeze will blow at around 14 km/h. The day will be similar to yesterday, but with slightly higher chances of rainfall between 8 mm and 20 mm, especially around Le Morne, La Gaulette, Case Noyale, and Chamarel during the afternoon.
The sea is calm, with waves around 0.5 meters on the west and north coasts and about 1 meter along the east and south. The sea will stay practicable until Friday, but rough conditions are expected by the weekend, with waves reaching 2.5 meters in the south.

No rainfall was recorded yesterday, and today also begins dry. However, a weak rain-bearing line from the east may bring light showers, with totals of around 2–4 mm expected. Winds will average 24 km/h from the east, and the sea remains calm with 1.3 meter waves offshore.
