Weather in Mauritius Today
This morning starts sunny across the entire island with a light breeze averaging 15 km/h from the northeast. A weak line of clouds is approaching from the east and may bring a short 10-minute shower between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM in areas such as the East Coast and Quartier Militaire. After that, the weather will return to mostly sunny.
Throughout the day, approximately 75% of the island is expected to experience fair weather, with the breeze slowing down to around 10 km/h. If any rainfall occurs today, it will likely affect areas like Chamouny and Le Morne, but the chances are low. This is due to a drier air mass moving into our region, keeping humidity and atmospheric instability minimal. In contrast, La Réunion could experience heavy showers and thunderstorms today, with some high-altitude areas receiving 30–50mm of rain.
The sea around Mauritius will be generally calm. Expect waves of around 1 metre in the north, 1.3 metres on western and eastern reefs, and up to 1.5 metres along southern breakers.

Weather in Rodrigues
Yesterday, only 1mm of rain was recorded at Pointe Canon. This morning, some cloud bands brushed the northern coast, possibly causing light rain, but they are now moving away. The rest of the day should remain mostly sunny with a steady 24 km/h breeze from the east.
There may be a light shower in the evening, though rainfall is expected to be minimal.
Waves around Rodrigues are currently about 1.7 metres in open waters.
