Today’s weather across Mauritius begins with clearer skies than the past few days, as early morning clouds slowly fade. Once the sun rises, most of the island enjoys bright conditions, light winds and rising temperatures. As the day progresses, weak breezes and humidity will once again support localised cloud development, keeping the weather slightly unpredictable this afternoon.
H3 – Today’s Weather: Sunny Start, Afternoon Showers Expected
Morning weather conditions turn sunny shortly after sunrise, with most of the island experiencing a clear and pleasant start. The breeze remains light at around 7 km/h from the east, then weakens further and shifts from the north later in the day.
Temperatures will climb to about 32°C along the coasts and may reach 33°C in the western regions.
From 11:30 AM onward, locally developing clouds may produce showers over the Central Plateau—between 5 mm and 25 mm—while Quartier Militaire could see up to 70 mm of rainfall. These showers are expected to drift south and southeast.

Rodrigues Weather Today

Today, the passing clouds from the night continue to dissipate, and sunshine gradually dominates. Winds are extremely light—only 1 km/h—so calm that, as locals say, “not even a leaf will move.”
During the day, scattered clouds may form offshore, and a portion of them could drift toward Rodrigues, bringing a renewed chance of rainfall within the next 48 hours.
Seas remain manageable with 1.5 m waves offshore.
Looking Ahead: Weather for the Coming Days
Mauritius may experience heavier weather between November 21 and 22, with an increased risk of widespread rain.
More settled conditions are expected from Tuesday to Thursday before another unstable period potentially arrives for the weekend.
