Today’s Weather – Mauritius and Surrounding Islands (Nov 1)

Today’s weather in Mauritius will be mostly sunny and pleasant. The morning starts mild, with a gentle southeasterly breeze blowing at around 20 km/h. A few light clouds may drift across the southern part of the island around sunrise, but rain is unlikely. Throughout the day, conditions will remain fair and bright, though some clouds may form over the Central Plateau as the breeze strengthens slightly. Tomorrow is expected to be even sunnier and calmer across the island.

Sea conditions are moderate: waves will reach about 1.3 meters along the western and southern reefs, 1.6 meters along the east coast, and around 1.8 meters in the far south. By the afternoon, wave heights may rise to about 2 meters in the southern lagoon areas.

Rodrigues Island – Weather Outlook

Rodrigues recorded no rainfall yesterday and woke up to a clear sky today. Some high-altitude clouds may pass overhead this morning but will not bring any rain. Humid air moving from the southeast will lose strength before reaching the island, allowing the day to remain mostly sunny. Winds will blow from the southeast at 28 km/h, and waves will reach around 1.8 meters offshore, increasing to about 3 meters tomorrow as sea conditions worsen.
