Today’s weather in Mauritius will be bright and pleasant overall. Yesterday brought plenty of sunshine across the island, though a few light showers occurred overnight in some areas — nothing significant. October is traditionally one of the driest months in Mauritius, so a touch of light rain is perfectly normal for this time of year.
This morning, a few passing clouds are moving across the northeastern part of the island, carrying minimal moisture. These clouds will brush along the coast before gradually dissipating after sunrise, leaving mostly clear skies behind. Winds are blowing from the east-southeast at an average speed of 23 km/h.
Early morning temperatures dropped to around 15.7°C in Grand Bassin, while daytime highs will reach around 30°C in Port Louis. Expect a mostly sunny day across the island. There is only a very small chance of light evening showers over the Central Plateau around 6 PM. Tomorrow should bring similarly fair and dry weather across Mauritius.
At sea, conditions remain calm with waves of about 1 meter along the western reefs, 1.4 meters in the north, and up to 1.8 meters along the eastern and southern coasts.
High tide: 2:41 AM and 2:30 PM
Low tide: 8:07 AM and 9:22 PM
Sunrise: 5:31 AM
Sunset: 6:16 PM
