This morning starts with some patchy cloud cover over parts of the island. Due to high humidity, these clouds may develop slightly, bringing brief light showers, mainly over the southeastern regions and the Central Plateau. However, rainfall amounts will remain low. After sunrise, most of Mauritius will stay cloudy, with high and mid-level clouds across the sky. Despite this, the weather will not be unpleasant — in several areas, the sun is expected to break through. A gentle southeasterly breeze will blow at around 26 km/h, keeping conditions comfortable along the coast.
As the day progresses, weather conditions will gradually improve, and the weekend looks set to be pleasant overall.
At sea, wave heights will reach about 1.5 meters along the western reefs, around 2 meters in the north, and between 2 and 2.3 meters along the eastern and southern coasts.
High tide: 1:21 AM and 1:16 PM
Low tide: 7:09 AM and 7:45 PM
Sunrise: 5:33 AM
Sunset: 6:15 PM
