The start of the week in Mauritius brings mostly favorable and seasonally typical weather conditions. The southeastern trade winds continue to influence the region, bringing some morning clouds and passing showers especially to the southern and eastern regions on Monday. However, Tuesday will see a return of more stable and sunnier weather across most of the island. Temperatures will range between 26–28 °C during the day and drop to about 20 °C at night. Monday, June 30

North Coast (Grand Baie, Pereybere)
Monday’s weather starts off with cloudy skies, but no rain is expected. Clouds will clear as the morning progresses, giving way to a mostly sunny afternoon. Temperatures will reach up to 28 °C with light southeasterly breezes around 18 km/h. The lagoon remains calm and perfect for swimming or water sports.

Northwest Coast (Mont Choisy, Trou aux Biches)
A humid morning will transition into sunny and calm conditions by mid-morning. Expect a high of 28 °C and gentle winds at 12 km/h. Visibility in the lagoon is excellent—ideal for snorkeling or paddleboarding.

Port Louis and Central Plateau
A passing shower is possible between 7 and 9 a.m., especially over the highlands. The weather will then improve, with some cloud cover lingering in the early afternoon. The temperature will climb to 27 °C in Port Louis, and remain around 23 °C in the central plateau. Winds could gust up to 35–40 km/h.

West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin)
Clear skies and warm sunshine define the day here. The weather is perfect for beachgoers and divers alike, with highs around 28 °C and only light breezes at 10 km/h.

Southwest Coast (Le Morne)
Expect a breezy and cloudy morning with wind gusts reaching up to 50 km/h. The afternoon will be drier and partially sunny. The sea beyond the reef may produce waves up to 3 meters—ideal for experienced kitesurfers.

South Coast (Bel Ombre)
A brief morning shower is possible, but sunshine will return by the afternoon. Temperatures will reach 26 °C with breezes around 28 km/h. The lagoon is safe for swimming, but caution is advised further out.

Southeast Coast (Blue Bay, Mahebourg)
Cloudy early in the day with a short-lived rain shower likely before 9 a.m. The weather then improves, and temperatures rise to around 27 °C. Winds between 30–35 km/h may create some chop outside the reef.

East Coast (Belle Mare, Trou d’Eau Douce)
Expect two brief showers in the morning, followed by clearing skies. The weather will be warm, with highs of 26 °C and sustained winds around 35 km/h. Wave heights offshore may reach 3 meters.

North Coast

Just like Monday, sunny skies and warm air dominate the day. With minimal wind and smooth seas, the weather remains perfect for sunbathing and snorkeling.

Port Louis and Central Plateau
Expect a clear morning, with a small chance of a late afternoon shower on the highlands around 4 p.m. Port Louis will enjoy warm temperatures of 26–27 °C, and the plateau will stay cooler at 23 °C. Winds will ease to 25–30 km/h.

West Coast
Another superb beach day is in store, with sunny skies, light breezes, and highs of 28 °C. The lagoon remains crystal clear, making it ideal for water sports and diving.

Southwest Coast (Le Morne)
Skies will be mostly sunny with occasional passing clouds. Winds drop slightly to 25 km/h, and offshore waves stay around 2 meters—suitable for intermediate kitesurfers and windsurfers.

Southern and Southeastern Coasts (Bel Ombre, Blue Bay)
Weather will be partly sunny and dry. Afternoon may bring some cloud cover, but no rain is expected. Temperatures will be around 25–26 °C, with moderate winds at 25–30 km/h. Lagoon conditions remain safe and calm.

East Coast
A sunny start gives way to some afternoon clouds. The weather remains dry with temperatures peaking at 26 °C. Seas outside the reef may still be choppy, with 2.5-meter waves.
