Let’s take a look at the detailed forecast, region by region:

Saturday, June 21

North Coast (Grand Baie, Pereybere)
Saturday’s weather in this region will be more unsettled. The morning starts off cloudy, and overcast conditions are expected to persist throughout the day, with occasional light rain possible. Temperatures will range around 26–27°C, and winds from the southeast will blow at approximately 20 km/h. The lagoon waters will remain calm, but due to the changing weather, beach plans may require some flexibility.

Northwest Coast (Mont Choisy, Trou aux Biches)
Pleasant weather continues, although occasional cloud cover may dim the sunshine. The sky will be partly to mostly cloudy at times, but temperatures will still reach around 27°C. A gentle breeze will keep the air comfortable, and the sea remains clear and warm—perfect for snorkeling and sunbathing. No rain is expected.

Port Louis and Central Plateau
Some morning mist or low cloud cover is possible around sunrise, particularly over the highlands, but skies will clear quickly. In Port Louis, the high will be 27°C, while in the central plateau it will remain around 24–25°C. A brief light shower is possible early in the day, but the weather will remain mostly dry.

West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin)
With calm breezes and temperatures climbing to 28°C, this region offers some of the best weekend weather in Mauritius. The sea will be calm and clear, making it ideal for swimming and diving.

Southwest Coast (Le Morne)
A bit more wind here – around 30–35 km/h – will make the weather suitable for water sports like kitesurfing and windsurfing. Expect sunny intervals with highs of 26°C. Swells beyond the reef may reach 3 meters.

South Coast (Bel Ombre)
The morning will be dry and sunny, with a chance of a short afternoon shower after 3 PM. Temperatures will hover around 26°C, and winds will range from 25–30 km/h. Offshore seas will be rough, but the lagoon will remain swimmable.

Southeast Coast (Blue Bay, Mahebourg)
A cloudy start is likely, followed by clearing skies around midday. Daytime highs will reach 26–27°C with wind gusts up to 35 km/h. The sea in the lagoon will be suitable for snorkeling, but conditions beyond the reef remain rough.

East Coast (Belle Mare, Trou d’Eau Douce)
Stronger trade winds will bring gusts of 35–40 km/h and a few passing showers in the early morning. These will give way to sunshine later in the day. The sea beyond the reefs will be choppy with waves around 3 meters, while lagoon areas remain safer.

Sunday, June 22

North Coast
Another bright day is expected with temperatures around 27°C and light breezes. The weather remains consistent and beach-friendly throughout the day.

Northwest Coast
Still the calmest and sunniest area, this region will enjoy clear skies, little wind, and highs of 28°C. A perfect destination for a relaxed Sunday.

Port Louis and Central Plateau
Some light early morning drizzle is possible on the highlands, especially before 7 AM. This will clear quickly, with bright conditions returning for the rest of the day. Port Louis will reach 26°C, while the plateau stays around 23–24°C. Winds will be around 25 km/h.

West Coast
The most stable weather in Mauritius this weekend continues here, with light winds, sunny skies, and 28°C highs. The sea is flat and transparent – excellent for diving or boat trips.

Southwest Coast (Le Morne)
Wind speeds ease to 25–30 km/h, and the sea remains moderately rough beyond the reef with 2–2.5 meter swells. The weather is ideal for intermediate-level watersports enthusiasts.

South Coast
Sunday starts off dry, with occasional short showers possible later in the day. Temperatures reach 25–26°C. Winds remain moderate, and the sea conditions in lagoons are safe.

Southeast Coast
Expect a mix of sun and cloud. A short afternoon drizzle is possible. Winds around 30 km/h will keep the air fresh. The weather remains largely cooperative for light outdoor activities.

East Coast
Sunny conditions in the morning, with thickening cloud cover in the afternoon and a few brief showers. The wind stays at 30–35 km/h and the outer reef remains rough.

The weather in Mauritius for June 21–22 brings a typical winter weekend pattern: warm days, steady winds, and brief showers in exposed areas. The north and west coasts will have the most favorable beach conditions, while the east and south might see occasional showers and gustier winds.
