Thursday, June 5
North Coast (Grand Baie, Pereybere)
The morning begins with clear skies and warm sunshine. The weather remains dry all day, with highs around 29°C. The sea is calm near the reefs, offering great visibility for snorkelling and diving.
Northwest Coast (Mont Choisy, Trou aux Biches)
One of the most stable regions today. Sunny skies dominate from morning to sunset. Gentle breezes and smooth waters make this a top choice for family outings. The weather is perfect for a catamaran sail.
Port Louis & Central Areas
Some early morning clouds will lift quickly, revealing mostly clear skies by mid-morning. Daytime temperatures in Port Louis could reach 30°C. The weather stays dry, with only slight humidity later in the afternoon.
West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin)
The sea is relatively calm with light winds and wave heights under 1 metre. Sunshine is abundant, and the golden hour around sunset will be especially scenic.
Southwest Coast (Le Morne)
A bit more wind here, with 2–2.3 metre waves on the reef edge. While the breeze is strong enough for advanced kitesurfing, the weather remains sunny and safe for coastal activities.
South Coast (Bel Ombre)
Slightly hazy morning conditions will give way to a clearer afternoon. Waters remain choppy beyond the reefs, but the weather inland is warm and dry, with highs near 27°C.
Southeast Coast (Blue Bay, Mahebourg)
The lagoon is calm and turquoise-clear, while wave heights offshore approach 2.8 metres. Best to enjoy the inner lagoon in the morning, when the weather is at its calmest.
East Coast (Belle Mare, Trou d’Eau Douce)
Easterly winds around 12–15 km/h may bring some light cloud cover midday. There’s a slim chance of a brief shower, but the weather clears quickly and remains bright for most of the day.
