The weather today in Mauritius is shaping up to be mild and mostly dry, with morning temperatures around 21°C along the coasts and a cooler 16–18°C up on the central plateau. As the sun climbs, expect highs of 26–28°C near the beaches, with 22–23°C in the highlands.
Winds from the southeast will hover around 22–25 km/h — strong enough to rustle the palms and keep things fresh, especially along the east coast. The sea remains warm at around 26°C, but it may get a little choppier by the afternoon in exposed areas.
Rain? Only a sprinkle.
A few light showers could sneak into the south and central plateau late in the day, but overall the weather will stay on your side. If you’re out hiking or exploring the coast, no need to pack much more than a light windbreaker.

Tuesday, May 27: Sunshine, Softer Winds, Better Sea
Tuesday’s weather brings a smoother version of Monday. Warmer by a degree or two and noticeably calmer in terms of wind, it’s the perfect island day — for swimmers, strollers, or those who just want to sit back with a cocktail and a view.
Morning temperatures start around 20–21°C and climb to a mellow 27–28°C in coastal zones. A few clouds drift in early, particularly in the south, but they’ll clear by late morning.
Rain chances are low — perhaps a brief shower in the south before 9 a.m., but it won’t linger.
