After days of heavy rainfall, Thursday brings no relief. In just 24 hours, Mare aux Vacoas recorded 117 mm of rain, Rose Belle 83 mm, and Rivière du Rempart over 80 mm. The air remains humid, with a moderate southeasterly wind carrying more warm, moisture-laden air across the island. Between 10 AM and 3 PM, expect intense downpours, with chances of thunderstorms and localised flooding. The sea is rough with waves reaching up to 2.5 meters beyond the reef, so ocean activities are best postponed for now.
