Tuesday, April 29 – Weather by region
North Coast (Grand Baie, Pereybere):
Temporary cloudiness is expected in the morning, then light rain may develop during the day. The wind will gradually pick up, and may become stormy in the evening. Sea waves will be around 1.2–1.3 meters.
Northwest Coast (Mont Choisy, Trou aux Biches):
Variably cloudy weather will characterize the day, with occasional showers. The southeast wind will continue to strengthen, and stronger waves may develop in the evening.
Port Louis and its surroundings:
Cloudy in the morning, with temporary rain during the day. The wind will blow from the southeast, becoming stronger, but significant gusts are unlikely.
West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin):
Cloudy, rainy weather is expected for most of the day. Due to the southeast wind, the sea will also become wavy in the west, with waves reaching 1.3 meters.
Southwest Coast (Le Morne):
Longer periods of cloudiness and occasional rain are likely. The wind will be stronger, with gusts of wind gusting to gale force in the afternoon and evening.
South Coast (Bel Ombre, airport):
Generally cloudy weather with light rain. The southeast wind will strengthen significantly in the evening, the sea will be rough from the east-southeast.

Strong winds continue to characterize the day, with occasional rain. The waves will increase further.
Port Louis and surrounding areas:
Sunnier periods are also possible, but overall windy, cooler weather will prevail. Wind speed is 30-35 km/h.
West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin):
Strong winds, showers and higher waves are expected, especially in the afternoon. The sea will be rougher.
Southwest Coast (Le Morne):
Stormy near-shore winds and 3-meter waves are expected. The air will remain humid.
South Coast (Bel Ombre, airport):
Windy, sometimes rainy weather is expected. The waves will increase significantly, the sea will not be suitable for swimming.
South Coast (Blue Bay, Mahebourg):
Strong winds, cooler, but humid air. The sea is rough along the coast, waves can reach 2 meters.
East Coast (Belle Mare, Trou d’Eau Douce):
Windy, cloudy weather with light rain. The waves will blow from the east, strong.
