Thanks to the tropical climate, the weather in April often brings showers, but the temperature remains pleasantly summery.
The wind may increase in several places, especially on the southern coast. The sea temperature is ideal for swimming on both days, but the waves may vary.

April 14 – Monday
North Coast (Grand Baie, Pereybere)
Variably cloudy weather is expected, with several showers, mainly in the afternoon. The temperature will be between 28-30 ° C. The wind may blow from the southwest, sometimes stronger.
North Coast (Mont Choisy, Trou aux Biches)
After a cloudy morning, temporary sunny periods may occur, but the rain may return in the afternoon. The air temperature is pleasantly warm, around 30 °C. The wind is slightly brisk.
Port Louis and surroundings
The day will start with rain, then the clouds will gradually break up. The maximum temperature will be around 31 °C. The humidity will be high, but the wind may occasionally refresh the air.
West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin)
Expect periods with showers, especially in the afternoon. The temperature will be 29–30 °C, the wind will blow moderately. Short sunny periods may also occur.
Southwest Coast (Le Morne)
The day will be characterized by stronger gusts of wind and showers from several directions. The sea will be slightly wavy. The air temperature will be around 29 °C.
South Coast (Bel Ombre, airport)
Variable, windy weather, with occasional rain. The temperature will range between 28–29 °C. The wind may blow stronger from the south and southeast.
South Coast (Blue Bay, Mahebourg)
Expect cloudy and windy weather with brief showers. Temperatures will be around 29°C. Gradual improvement is expected during the day.
East Coast (Belle Mare, Trou d’Eau Douce)
Mostly cloudy weather is expected, with rain mainly in the morning and late afternoon. The wind will be brisk from the east, with a maximum temperature of 29°C.

April 15 – Tuesday
North Coast (Grand Baie, Pereybere)
Clearer weather is expected, with only occasional brief showers. Temperatures will remain around 29–30°C. The wind will be lighter, and the sea will be calmer.
Northwest Coast (Mont Choisy, Trou aux Biches)
Sunny periods are expected, with only a few cumulus clouds blocking the view. The air is pleasantly warm, ideal for beaching. The wind is barely noticeable.
Port Louis and surrounding areas
Mostly sunny weather is expected, with increasing cloud cover in the afternoon. The temperature will peak around 30 °C. The weather is favorable for city walks.
West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin)
Only a few brief showers are possible, but basically sunny, warm weather is expected. The air temperature will be 29–30 °C. The weather will be enjoyable on the beach.
Southwest Coast (Le Morne)
Even with windier conditions, there will be more sunshine. The temperature will be around 29 °C. The waves may be moderate, so it is worth taking precautions when doing water sports.
South Coast (Bel Ombre, Airport)
Cloudy but mostly dry weather with a brisk southeasterly wind and a high of 29°C. A good day for hiking.
South Coast (Blue Bay, Mahebourg)
Sunny weather with few clouds for most of the day. The sea will be ideal for swimming, with a high of 28°C. Winds will remain light.
East Coast (Belle Mare, Trou d’Eau Douce)
Sunny weather with occasional cumulus clouds. Highs of 28–29°C and light winds. Calm weather along the coast will be conducive to relaxation.
