In the east, the weather is more gloomy in the morning, with scattered rain possible. In the afternoon, however, more and more sunshine is expected, and the air will freshen up. The temperature is 29–30 °C, and the wind can blow a little stronger here.
South Coast (Mahebourg, Blue Bay)
In the southern region, the sun is still shining undisturbed in the morning, and the view of the sea is particularly impressive at this time. However, clouds may gather in the early afternoon, and short showers can also be expected. The temperature is 29–30 °C, and the weather is perfect for relaxing by the water.
West Coast (Flic en Flac, Tamarin)
On the west coast, today we have a real “postcard weather”: lots of sunshine from morning to sunset, with only a few clouds. The weather is almost ideal for beaching or hiking. Temperatures are around 30-31°C, with light winds.

Monday, variable but generally pleasant weather is expected in various regions of Mauritius. The wind is blowing from the east, with occasional strong gusts, which will bring a bit of a break from the tropical heat.
North Mauritius (Grand Baie, Péreybère, Cap Malheureux)
Several hours of sunshine are expected in the morning, with temperatures around 30°C. However, in the afternoon, the clouds will increase and scattered showers may develop, especially further inland on the island. The wind will occasionally refresh the air, making the weather ideal for beaching and walking.
East Mauritius (Belle Mare, Trou d’Eau Douce)
Cloudy weather is expected in the first half of the day, and light rain may occur in the morning. The afternoon will be variable sunny, but showers that will pass quickly may also arrive. The easterly wind may be stronger, but the weather will not hinder beach activities, just have a raincoat handy.
South Mauritius (Blue Bay, Souillac)
Moderate cloudiness is expected in the southern region, with occasional showers, especially in the afternoon. The air temperature will be around 29 °C, with high humidity. The weather is favorable for hiking and beach activities, except for a few short showers.
West Mauritius (Flic en Flac, Tamarin)
On the west side, we can expect a lot of sunshine, the morning is clear, but during the afternoon there may be cumulus clouds. There may be a few showers, but these will typically pass quickly. The weather in this part is particularly favorable for beachgoers and sun worshippers.
